About Riaz Ali Sabri

Riaz Ali Sabri was born in 1962 as the beloved son of Ramzan Ali Sabri, a resident of the Ouel area of Paisa Akhbar. He is the fourth among his siblings. In childhood, he had no connection with music whatsoever, but from his school days he developed a passionate interest in reciting Na’ats, Qur’anic recitation, and music — a passion that gradually turned into a profession. From 1970 onward, he became associated with Radio and TV, and formally became a student of the rare gems Haji Ghulam Fareed Sabri and Haji Maqbool Ahmed Sabri. In addition, under the guidance of Ustad Munawar Ali Khan — son of Ghulam Ali — this son of the soil mastered the art of music and singing, bringing honor to Pakistan not only nationally but internationally. He now resides in the Bilal Ganj area of Lahore.
